{"id":557,"date":"2018-12-26T16:34:18","date_gmt":"2018-12-26T13:34:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/volare.kiev.ua\/aviation-engineering-degree-courses-launched\/"},"modified":"2018-12-26T16:34:18","modified_gmt":"2018-12-26T13:34:18","slug":"aviation-engineering-degree-courses-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/volare.kiev.ua\/ru\/aviation-engineering-degree-courses-launched\/","title":{"rendered":"Aviation engineering degree courses launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/4a56fc20bc4bfe3ffb91c1af4597d44c.jpg\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>AeroAcademy, the University of South Wales (USW) and the Aviation Skills Partnership have created a Professional Aviation Engineering Practice degree level course.<\/p>\n<p>The course is available as a three-year BSc (Hons) Degree or a two-year Foundation Degree with the course starting next September.<\/p>\n<p>Both courses are tailored to provide graduates with career opportunities in aerospace and are based on an Aviation Skills Partnership framework and around the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Category B licence.<\/p>\n<p>Students will be taught at AeroAcademy, which is located close to Cambridge Airport and the headquarters of Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group; one of the world\u2019s largest independent aerospace companies.<\/p>\n<p>Ian Peart, General Manager of AeroAcademy, said, \u201cOur collaboration with the Aviation Skills Partnership and the University of South Wales has produced two extremely fit-for-purpose degree courses, leading to excellent career opportunities for the successful graduates &#8211; as well as feeding qualified, enthusiastic engineers into the aerospace industry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/807b50bc8b086024522a090fe72f5a6d.jpg\"  \/>AeroAcademy&#8217;s aviation engineering degree course opens in September.<br \/>\nPrinciples and practical<\/p>\n<p>The first two years of training\/education are common to both courses.<\/p>\n<p>Year 1 provides the basic knowledge of the principles behind and the practical methods for performing essential engineering tasks; and provides an introduction to the use of design tools, manufacturing techniques and health and safety protocols.<\/p>\n<p>Year 2 will present students with the option of pursuing either an EASA Type-B1 licence (which focuses on the mechanical engineering aspects of aircraft design) or a Type\u2013B2 licence (which focuses on the avionics systems used in aircraft design).<\/p>\n<p>Year 3 \u2013 for the BSc (Hons) Degree only \u2013 covers a range of topics around the aerospace business environment.
