Sales of new general aviation aircraft were down across most types in 2015 according to figures released by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) today. Total worldwide general aviation aircraft shipments fell 4.6 percent, from 2,376 units in 2014 to 2,267 units in 2015. Aquila Aviation bought by Turkish manufacturer

German light aircraft maker Aquila Aviation has been bought by a Turkish automotive supplier specialising in plastic injection moulding. Aquila makes the A210/A211 two-seat aircraft.
